Sportsmen’s and Outdoor Expo Set for March 25, Says Heffley

LEHIGHTON – In an effort to promote the many outdoor recreational activities available to Carbon County residents, Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) will host a Sportsmen’s and Outdoor Expo on Saturday, March 25, from 2-5 p.m. at Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1, in Jim Thorpe.

“The snow is beginning to melt, and residents are starting to think about heading outdoors,” Heffley said. “This event is a great opportunity to connect with vendors from local retailers and sportsmen’s clubs and learn more about the vast recreational opportunities offered in Carbon County and surrounding areas.”

A variety of sporting activities will be featured. Admission is free. The expo will include door prizes and more than 30 vendors.
